Family Support and Enrollment Program Coordinator

Job Position Description: Responsible for over-sight of ERSEA (Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility and Attendance) and case management/family engagement of Head Start and Early Head Start families, including providing community resources and collaborations, support service delivery, monitoring and reporting, and providing best practices in working with families.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze, plan and implement enrollment and family engagement systems, including recruitment of families.
  • Provide training related to enrollment systems, policies and procedures.
  • Monitor agency collaborations and tracking enrollment services.
  • Provide information, referral and coordinating efforts to link staff and families with appropriate child care resources.
  • Establishes ongoing collaborative relationships with community organizations that promote the access of children and families to community services.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of family partnership agreements.
Qualifications and Requirements:  

  • Master’s degree in Social Service, Human Service or related field
  • At least two years’ experience working with families and children. 
  • Two years supervisory/ program management experience is preferred. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and a high level of interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, motivating and energetic personality
  • Professionalism and can be flexible in a changing environment
  • Strong computer literacy, database, spreadsheet and word processing, Internet and e-mail.
  • Must be able to effectively operate a motor vehicle, as travel is required.
  • Regular repetitive motion with hands, computer keyboarding
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients in crisis.
  • Knowledge and experience in data collection and information processes and systems
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
  • Training and training development for small and large groups.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
