Full Time • Head Start - Trinity
Full-Time, Mon-Fri, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Student Loan Forgiveness, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 403B Retirement. Must have college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Experience in teaching in early childhood classrooms is necessary.

Job Position Description: Responsible for implementing and managing early childhood classrooms and staff and assisting in the oversight of the designated sites. 

Salary Range: $ 43,200.00 per year

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure center compliance with  Head Start Performance Standards, child care licensing standards, and GETCAP policies and procedures.  
  • Monitor and support classroom staff and curriculum implementation.
  • Acts as a resource and content area expert for staff and parents in the area of child development and education, including conducting training to address training and professional development needs and requirements
  • Generate necessary reports
Qualifications and Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • At least one year experience in an early childhood program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and a high level of interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, motivating, and energetic personality
  • Professionalism and can be flexible in a changing environment
  • Strong computer literacy, database, spreadsheet and word processing, Internet, and e-mail.
  • Knowledge and experience in data collection and information processes and systems
  • Knowledge ECE Instructional Methods, including age-appropriate curriculum principles and child development

Compensation: $38,000.00 per year
